Yes, Loyalty Wallet is completely free to download and use. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions, or in-app purchases required to access all features.
Loyalty Wallet is currently available for iPhone and iPad running iOS 15.0 or later. We're working on an Android version that will be released soon.
Features & Functionality
You can add loyalty cards in two ways:
- Scan: Use your camera to scan the barcode on your physical loyalty card
- Manual Entry: Type in the card number and details manually
Both methods will create a digital version that works exactly like your physical card.
Loyalty Wallet supports all major barcode formats used by loyalty programs:
- Code 128 (most common)
- QR Codes
- Code 39
- EAN-13
- UPC-A
Yes! You can organize your cards in several ways:
- Search for specific cards by brand name
- Sort cards alphabetically or by most recently used
- Add custom names and notes to each card
- Set favorite cards for quick access
Using your digital cards is simple:
- Open Loyalty Wallet and find the card you want to use
- Tap on the card to view the full-screen barcode
- Show the barcode to the cashier or scan it yourself at self-checkout
- The barcode works exactly like your physical card
Security & Privacy
Absolutely! Your security is our top priority:
- All card data is stored locally on your device
- We never transmit your loyalty card information to our servers
- Data is encrypted using iOS's built-in security features
- No personal information is shared with third parties
Your data is protected by your device's security features:
- If you have Face ID or Touch ID enabled, your data is protected
- You can use Find My iPhone to remotely wipe your device
- Your loyalty card data is not stored in the cloud, so it's not accessible to others
- You can easily re-add your cards on a new device
No, we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data:
- Your loyalty card information stays on your device
- We don't track your shopping habits or location
- We don't sell data to advertisers or third parties
- We only collect anonymous usage data to improve the app
Technical Support
If your barcode won't scan, try these solutions:
- Make sure the barcode is clearly visible and well-lit
- Hold your phone steady and close to the scanner
- Try adjusting the brightness of your screen
- Clean your phone's screen to remove any smudges
- If the issue persists, try manually entering the card number
To update Loyalty Wallet:
- Open the App Store on your iPhone
- Tap your profile icon in the top right
- Scroll down to find Loyalty Wallet
- Tap "Update" if available
- Or enable automatic updates in Settings > App Store
Currently, your cards are stored locally on your device. We're working on a secure backup feature that will allow you to:
- Backup your cards to iCloud (encrypted)
- Sync across multiple devices
- Restore cards if you get a new phone
This feature will be available in a future update.
If the app crashes, try these steps:
- Close the app completely (swipe up and swipe away)
- Restart your iPhone
- Reopen the app
- If the problem continues, try deleting and reinstalling the app
